Re: [RPG]: Changeling: The Lost, reviewed by Darren MacLennan (5/5)
Darren, when you said you were writing a review, you can't believed how worried I got. But you were very nice to my bit, so that's all right.
But anyway, while I appreciate people giving stuff I worked on 10/10, the review doesn't support that score (it's surely a 4/4 at best). How come the top marks?

At a bare minimum, you can put those dots into - let's see - four generic Contracts, one Seeming, two Mantle, one Goblin - you can put those five dots into eight separate powers, each with its own merits.

Darren; You gazed far, far, far too deep into the abyss when you wrote that review. Cause it didn't just look back, it sucked out your eyeballs, climbed in, and started driving you around like a car.- Patrick Y.

'Cause it's goddamn good stuff. I liked Werewolf a lot; I thought that it was an excellent game, but Changeling is even better. Most of my review consists of wrestling with the problems that I did have with it, but even with those problems, every RPer should have a copy.

or does it?
Nope, usually means only five Contracts. Plus, you don't buy Mantle with Contract dots; that's solely the province of Merit dots.

excellent review. Probably one of the best reviews I've read on this site.
