[Board/Tactical Game]: China Rails, reviewed by Tom Vasel (3/3)

http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/13/13439.phtml

Tom Vasel's Summary:

Another train \"crayon\" rail game, this time with a map of China. Long routes but choked points are highlights of this map, a decent one for the series.

Re: [Board/Tactical Game]: China Rails, long?

well, basically, none of the games in the series are long for experienced players who know pretty much where the cities/commodities are. Most of the games can be finished in 1.5 - 2 hours by four players familiar with the particular map. Having to look up the locations of cities and goods when getting new card is what slows down games...and dithering about whether to run a mediocre to poor set of cards or dump them. (Horrible cards are easy to decide.)
