Nice to see the character generation chapter given a step by step run through. It is admittedly a bit heavy at times, so I'm glad you explained it from a players' perspective.

Excellent review, Chris. You really captured the grand scope of the setting.
And I can't be alone in thinking that the cardinal natures sound a whole lot like Lawful Good, Chaotic Good, Lawful Evil, and Chaotic Evil.

They certainly are similar to those parts of the D&D alignment axis. I can't say I love this aspect of the game, but it's very easy to down play or ignore as I like.
