[Spirit of the Century] Inspirational Image Aspect-Off! Library of Congress Edition.

Yes, Virginia, the Library of Congress has a Flickr account.

And they're posting wartime color photographs that look as though they were shot yesterday instead of 1942.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/library_of_congress/

Check it out. You'll find a few hundred SOTC character images in there, waiting to be born.

Your assignment: link to a photograph of an image that inspires you and list the character's aspects

Mike Hunter, Dashing Airman!
  • I Make This Stuff Look Easy
  • Never Without My Shades
  • If It Has a Propeller, I Can Fly It
  • She's Back Home, Waiting For Me

I've started this over on my LiveJournal as well, but given some of the "inspirational images" threads here, I figured it might be a natural fit for RPG.net too.

You're aspects are better than the ones I was coming up with for that great image. But the name the photo carried in another collection of photos, according to one commentor, was a great aspect too.

Wow. These are actually all really, really good aspects.

Found three that I liked so I'm going with a 3 by 3 for you. Felt like breaking up the 4-aspect pattern we got going.

Tom Johnson

Square Jawed
Glider-Riding Cowboy
Uneasy on Earth

Lucenzo DiGiotto

No Shirt, No Worries
The Original Italian Stallion
Smile for Every Lady

Lt. Jenkins

Wow! This site is incredible. This has got to be my favorite:

"Operating a hand drill at Vultee-Nashville, woman is working on a "Vengeance" dive bomber, Tennessee"

Aspects:
"They ain't broke nothing yet that I can't fix."
"I never pick up a drill until my nail polish dries."
"That too heavy for you, hon? Lemme give you a hand..."
