The final chapter in the Scion trilogy promises epic action and adventure as the gods square off against the Titans in a battle to decide the future of everything!

Speed reading? Speed reading??
Wow...
Well, other than that, it sounds like a cool addition to the line. I really have to question the focus on "signature characters," though, since I'd imagine a huge appeal of the game is the ability to create your own divinely-powered ass-kicker.
Can you give some actual examples of the sorts of monsters featured in the Antagonists section?
Great job as always, Chris!

Are there stats for Fenris and/or the Midgard Serpent?

Nice review.
The Scion : God campaign just make me think of the (real or not) letter to TSR in the 80's : "We killed all the gods in Deities and Demi-Gods. Are you going to make another god books ?" ? Am I the only one ?
Don't misunderstand me : I love Exalted, and I am very interested in Scion. Some (most) of my best game memories are from WW's games.

Thanks!

I think Scion works well for anyone who wants to use the included adventure, and I think the line is best considered as a game + mega adventure rather than just as a game.
As a game alone it suffers for lack of setting, rules issues, and quantity of useful material. Those problems are addressed fairly well for anyone using the signature characters and adventures, as all of the setting needed for the adventures is included and the adventures are generally sculpted to the capabilities of the signature characters (and thus get by some potential rules issues).

All the Scion reviews have been interesting, and since this was the one I was most eager to read, I was very pleased to see how thorough it was (if not entirely pleased by what that revealed - alas, that White Wolf did not get a chance to read this review during Scion: God's playtesting!) - allow me to echo the sentiment in the room and give a hearty 'thanks, Chris!'
There is one thing I would like to ask, at the risk of derailing the topic: what are the "alternatives on the market" to which you refer during your final analysis? I am a some-time Nobilis player, but often feel the desire for a god game which is less mentally taxing than playing a chess game while taking a college-level Philosophy final, and still have not found one which satisfies me.
