It's been posted on the Troll Lord games site that Ernest Gary Gygax, father of the game, has passed away in his home. As much as I'd like to think otherwise, this looks to be for real:
But as I said over on the TLG forum, if lives are measured by the joy and happiness we've brought to others (which they should be), then Gary was one of the all time great men in history. May he rest in peace forever.

The man's ideas shaped my life in a very real way. I wouldn't be who I am now if it wern't for him.

Have you ever said to yourself, "Well, this PS3 is all right, but what I really want is a stack of books written by that Bailywolf guy" ?
I am very said. I wish I could thank him for all the joy he's provided me and mine.
EDIT: I was chatting about Grey Elf's suggestion with my younger brother. He thought it might be nice if an adventure like this was released through Dungeon.
But confirmation from another source would be nice.
May God damn the jerk who posted that fake death notice about John Wick.

Darren; You gazed far, far, far too deep into the abyss when you wrote that review. Cause it didn't just look back, it sucked out your eyeballs, climbed in, and started driving you around like a car.- Patrick Y.
That's horrible news, my condolences to all his friends and family. We are all in your debt Mr Gygax, rest in peace sure in the knowledge you've given so much to so many people.

Shit. I knew I should have gone up to him at Gencon and shaken his hand. Damnit.
