I considered waiting, but since I was about to start a FATE Fading Suns game I decided a SOTS one shot would be an excellent way to introduce some of my friends to the system before they built characters and such for the longer term game. Seeing Aspects work in play gives a person a different perspective when it comes time to create their own.
