http://www.rpg.net/reviews/archive/13/13794.phtml

Shannon Appelcline's Summary:

A bag for carrying your Memoir '44 stuff, helpful if you're constantly hauling tall piles of Memoir '44 product to a friend's house or your friendly local game store.

Shannon -- would this bag be useful for Battlelore players? As a generic game bag for "big Kosmos" or "Days of Wonder" sized boxes?

Thanks,

The main compartment is surely the right size for square boxes. There's enough room for two regular sized boxes (e.g., Memoir '44 or Ticket to Ride) and one small height box (e.g., the Air Pack or Ticket to Ride Switzerland). Alternatively there's enough room for a regular sized box and a tall box (e.g., Battlelore). However, you have to turn the boxes on their side, and in my experience few games deal well with that well (though both Memoir '44 and Battlelore should).

The side pouches are really specially sized, and somewhat small. They don't quite fit the Kosmos 2-player games or the (old style) Fantasy Flight Silver Line games, all of which had a pretty small form factor. Sadly, the Battlelore expansions are a bit too big too. I did find some games that could fit from my Reiner Knizia shelf, including the recent Mayfair Modern Art, the Uberplay High Society, and the Avalanche Res Publica, but none of those sizes is particularly standard.

Because of its specialization toward Memoir '44, I suspect it's not a good general game bag, but you could get lucky if the precise games that you carry around happen to match those sizes.

I might use it when I go to a game day when it's raining, because I have games that I could fill it with, and it'd let me keep things close in the wet. I just have a lot games that won't fit too.
