Great review. Well thought out, and even a comparison table of competitor's products. Well done.

Cheers,
Tom

Just a note, you can write on WotC Dungeon tiles, though it does have to be a dry erase pen.

Great review, I'll definitely be checking these out.

That is probably true but the difference is that is a sprayed on coating so don't rub to hard. It's also a piece of cardboard so water, potato chip grease, ect……… may permanently stain them.

Mine on the other hand are a solid plastic film mounted on foam, not indestructible but I would challenge the cardboard tiles to a durability test any time.

Hey that might be a good Utube vid, Thanks

Yes, I agree with Tom.
Thank you Shannon for a fair, detailed and honest review. I am particularly happy that you were able to use it in your campaign.

I will take the comparisons to the big kids, WoTC and Paizo as a complement since I don’t have an army of employees or outsource manufacturing to China.

If anyone would like to ask me questions about the Stone Bard Inn please leave your questions here and I will stop by as often as possible.

I would like to point out a few things.

Unlike the Paizo flip maps where you have to unfold the whole thing and it’s always the same. I’ve tried to make these tiles as versatile as possible, to be used individually, in pairs or any other way you can think of to combine them.

This way our tiles can be laid down on top of battle mats to add detail, color and expediency while the GM draws in the rest of the map by hand.

By combining 1 or 2 tiles with a battle mat I’ve used the common room and upstairs private room tiles as barracks and officers quarters, the 3 private rooms and patio area as parts to a keep and the stage as part of a theater.

If you need a smaller inn or tavern just use the two tiles that represent the kitchen / bar and the indoor table area. Then using either a wet or dry erase marker draw in a back wall. This makes for a very reasonable and playable small to medium sized tavern.

Thanks again Shannon and when the Caves and Caverns are ready, I'll drop those by.
