Excellent review! It gave me a good feel for the product, without being overly long. (My attention span isn't what it used to be.)

I'm tempted to pick this game up. I'm currently at the end of a very tactical D&D campaign and this sounds like a nice break from that, while still appealing to my group of players.

If you want to play some fantasy and you have a low attention span, then this is the game for you!

Excellent review!

I have the original "Thongor" version of the game and have played it several times. A great game in the tradition of something like "Dragon Warriors;" lightweight, fast, fun. I was unaware a second, "generic" edition had appeared. I'll check it out. Thanks.

I have to echo what an excellent review this is. I've looked at some of it in the past when it was discussed over at the Game Design & Development forum and it looked interesting. After reading your review I think I might just get myself a copy once it's out, sounds neat. Especially the "squander the treasure to earn XP" bit stands out as a great idea.
