You know I hate to be negative, because KQ really is a good magazine, but it doesn't have something for everyone. At this point, all of the content is strictly for D&D players and mostly to 3rd edition and onwards. So while it is good at what it does, I wouldn't say it yet approaches the classic Dragons before they became a house organ for WotC.
