What does "laser cleric" mean?

As in, where does this term come from? What is the difference between a laser cleric and say, a maser cleric? Help me out here.

Re: What does "laser cleric" mean?

Laser cleric as in, it gets pew-pew powers to zap the enemy at range, like with a laser.

This is as opposed to a maser cleric, which is a cleric rich enough to buy a Maserati.

Re: What does "laser cleric" mean?

In 4e, a laser cleric is one who only chooses the ranged radiant at-will powers, and ignores the strength based melee ones.
