Well, it's cool to see that someone else remembers D6 Star Wars.



Towards the end of your review, you made a comment regarding the time-frame this book is set in.

If I remember correctly, almost all West End Star Wars supplements were assumed to be taking place somewhere within the time-frame of the original trilogy, somewhere between The Battle of Yavin and The Battle of Hoth; unless specifically stated otherwise.

I don't know why. Personally, I think it works because it hits the right balance of optimism (The Death Star is blown up) and danger (but the Empire is still pretty strong).

That makes some sense for sure. Heir to the Empire sourcebook suggests it happens a bit later as well. I guess in some way the ambiguity of time frame is good. Helps keep things flexible.
