Re: John Wick's 'Curse of the Yellow Sign, Act 1.'
So, uh, spoilers?

I Think These Games Are Beautiful: The Dreadful Secrets of Candlewick Manor, Unknown Armies, Nobilis, Dogs In The Vineyard, Call of Cthulhu, Delta Green, Godlike, HeroQuest, RuneQuest, Spirit of the Century, old Mage.
Points: 1 Penny Arcade Point from WyzardWhately for "Hey doesn't Bob annoy you? Yeah? He annoys me too. Let's make him cry."
I don't think you can really give away too much about this one. It's a one-shot with pregens, and it's really important to use those pregens written for it.
What the scenario turns out like is going to be extremely dependant on the players in your own group, but certainly it will be horrific.

Interesting!
In what way does it remind you of Jailbreak and/or In Media Res?
(I think they're both terrific scenarios, so this really got my spider sense tingling.)
Well, there is an easy way to find out; it's just five bucks, after all

It reminds me of IMR, because...
1) It's a one-shot with a very specific set of pregen characters, and the relationship between them is a powder keg.
2) When the mythos enters the scene, it's like a match for that powder keg.
3) Ultimately, there's no wrong answer here. No matter what happens, it's almost certainly going to end up spectacular and based pretty much entirely on how the players interpret the pregens.
4) On the other hand, there's no right answer to this scenario, either. It's very, hhmmm...experiential?
5) This scenario begins almost in media res, itself. The PCs are dropped pretty much straight into events.
6) The pregens in this scenario are bastards all, much like IMR. And, as with IMR, this will tend to encourage the players to go forth and be bastards, all the more so since it's a one-shot.
7) Like IMR, this scenario involves not just gruesomeness, but frankly weird horror. The Mythos in this scenario is very much strange and alien, and not in the rubber monster sense.

You play Nazis in the jungle and there's a mine and a guy named Ahvril, got it. What actually happens? What're the pregen's individual motives?
I want a big-ass block of black spoiler tags here.
