Re: [Next WoD Game] All Things Are Born Of Darkness
You know, the funny thing is, that it's so ambivalent I can't say that I actually think it was worth printing. I know WW does this as a way to promote and start building interest for their next game line but a brief single sentence bereft of any kind of context doesn't really get me excited. Maybe I'm just becoming jaded, though, perhaps I used to get really thrilled when I got told nothing about a product that's a year away.
Also, as a kid, the Jersey Devil scared the ever loving shit out of me.

I think you're missing the context, then. they didn't say it's about something born of darkness. they said ALL THINGS are born of darkness. ie: vampires, werewolves, etc. Everything. I could see that going a lot of ways.
1) some unifying string theory book for WoD.
2) something akin to anti-hunters. People that are rooting for the darkness, not the light.
3) something related to unborn souls (a big theme in movies and horror lately).
4) evil furries with laser eyes who secretly wrote twilight and Harry Potter. What, it could happen.

Perhaps some sort of historical sourcebooks, à la oWoD Dark Ages line?

So, in essence, this brief sentence without any kind of context could mean practically anything? That's sort of what I meant.
Yeah that was from a post of mine over on the WW board and from the brief description given to my by my girlfriend via text message. If there's anything else of note I'll post it once I've got the book in hand, maybe even take a quick pic of it or the like.
