How did I miss this for a whole week? (Announced on Aug 2.)
So an Expanded Players Guide with 3 sample settings (Age of Myth, Horror, and Post-Apoc) and rules add-ons for settings, vehicles, and more magic?
For a long time $50 seemed to be the price holder for new hardcover rpgs.
Then WHFPRP 4th edition came out and I paid $60 for the first time for a single book (not a deluxe edition or limited or slipcase).
Now I see the new edition of the Cypher System is out EDIT coming up in September. Mind...
Going to grab it tomorrow. Looking very much forward to it.
And some words from Jack Norris himself as to the question "Why?"...
Season two premires tonight, July 11 on the CW
While it was nothing great, the distinct lack of Fantasy media makes this something to poke at if for nothing else.
And Jessica Green fills the roll of Talon with much more ability than expected.
September. Planescape Torment and Neverwinter is also slated.
I never did get my mits on these back in the day, and now seems like a good time to be a RPG gamer.
It looks really cool, a mythical 17th century colonial frontier with Natives vs Settlers and magic and monsters and flintlocks.
It's also by the same company that did Techomancer (which I loved the setting but not the gameplay) and Bound...
From the creators of the incredibly cool Wicked Pacts, a new dystopian Supers RPG.
Just grabbed it up on the strengths of the concept and because I love Wicked Pacts.
I've just skimmed over it and it's really neat...
Finally got Oblivion installed and running on my Xbox1 properly.
DLC and add-ons not working because of no at home internet, but base game is a go.

What else is out there where every encounter could result in a magic...
I will be getting mine tomorrow.
For $40, this thing is chock full.
Dice Set, Pre-Gen Characters, Pawns, flip mat, starter rules set.
It looks like a great value.
Now if we can just get a corrected Corebook print, I'll be estatic.
I got this on one of it's $5 sales on DTRPG a while back, and over the weekend I downloaded the revised updated PDF.

For those of you not in the know...
So there was an April Fools posting about a fake She-Ra game that the awesome Crystal Fraiser grabbed onto and made a serious offer...
And judging from some of the responses, is getting attention from the legal people and other creative types.
This is meta-awesome on so many levels. It's not...
Talislanta is probably the most famous example of "no elves!" with non-typical races besides elves and dwarves.
There is a Mass Dragon Effect Age art project on DeviantArt that inports the ME crew into Thedas and makes them fighters and wizards and stuff.
So, I'm thinking of taking the Alien...
Would Thanos from the MCU be considered an Unknown Armies character? Gives up everything for power, until nothing is left?
Could John Wick fit in Over the Edge? Or Revy from Black Lagoon?
I don't mean putting superheroes into a Supers game or asking if Aragorn fits in D&D.
