Art/writing/game thief James Shipman (Outlaw Press) is back, this time on Lulu [Irwin x2] [Mr. Shipman has passed away]

He seems to be going under the monniker "J S" on Lulu.com, and has a number of products up including Gristlegrim Dungeon, the T&T PLayer's Companion etc. If you look at the preview for the game "Harg" his name is there in black and white. There are also some issues of the Hobbit Hole up there...

James Shipman of Outlaw Press sent me an email 'thanking' me for posting pics of my T&T collection...

I recently posted a lot of big pics of my Tunnels & Trolls collection at the Trollbridge Forums. (If you'd like to take a look-see the thread is HERE . ) Today I received an email from "Hobbit King": "Thanks for posting the new pictures. They will be perfect for a new Hobbit Hole article! :)"...

    Outlaw Press Watch Thread

Mods, could we possibly get the 'Outlaw Press Watch' thread moved to TTO from Tangency Open? As I was posting a link to Shipman's latest antics in said thread today, it struck me that it would actually be very useful for the thread to start showing up in Search Engines...

TrollsZine and Outlaw Press [T&T/dodgy dealings]

Just to clarify something that the notorious Jim Shipman has pronounced on his site, which I do not intend to link to. I quote from the site Home Page as of 3.8.11 I edited TrollsZine. The terms of the agreements with the individual contributors (including myself) were that they were not for...

    Shipman is back

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't really have the energy to fight this guy anymore. But Jim Shipman is back selling his wares and hiding behind some vague disclaimer how he is not responsible for the content of the books he sells. http://www.outlawpressinc.com/ As I...

    Open Letter to James Shipman

I have not been an RPG.net poster in the past, and may not be here much in the future, but I think this is an important site for communication. Therefore, I wish to post this open letter to James Shipman about his continuing misuse of my name and Tunnels and Trolls. Ken St. Andre Phoenix...

Tunnels and Trolls - Don't buy from Outlaw Press

I am reposting the letter Ken has posted: James, I received your package yesterday with some surprise. Received six copies of the revised Gristlegrim Dungeon. This dismays me, as I told you to quit publishing it back in January of this year when I broke with you. If this parcel was an attempt...

[T&T] Outlaw Press Back & Still Thieving!

One of my artist mates has just pointed out that Outlaw Press/James L. Shipman are now back at it with their thieving ways after lying low for a while. Clearly you can't keep the scumbag down and he's as determined as ever to steal art, writing, and IP material that doesn't belong to him, and...

    Outlaw Press Watch

For those interested in the continuing story of James Shipman and Outlaw Press (after the first thread was locked due to length), there is more to tell. I'm not a great cataloger or chronicler, so I am going to link off to a fantastic summary...

    Outlaw Press & Trollhalla

As a member of Trollhalla (Ken St Andres Tunnels and Trolls forum) we have been casting a vote as to keep Mr Shipman (owner of Outlaw Press) as a member. Below is an email post talking about this vote. Roger Calver. " While the vote is not final, the consensus is that Shipy retain his...

    Outlaw Press uses stolen art

So I was browsing through RPGnow today and I came across something that really pissed me off. The game on called "Hot Pursuit" by Outlaw Press has a cover that uses copyrighted art. The person claimed as the artist on the page is one Kevin Bracey, who is even complimented in the summary for his...
