Re: KICKSTARTER SPOTLIGHT - Card & Board Games

For people who like cooperative deduction games and/or card games with gorgeous art:

The Shipwreck Arcana

It ends on the 31st; it's well past funded, and there's only one stretch goal left that they're virtually guaranteed to reach; I just didn't want anyone to miss out on the opportunity to get the promo cards for free while they still can.

The game's got a nice, compact, elegant design, and as I said the art is amazing. Fans of Sentinels of the Multiverse might recognize the art style; it's by Matthew Bishop, the guy behind The Cauldron fan expansion.

There's a print and play, and it's up on Tabletopia, for people who want to try it out or just get a good look at the card art.

Doomtown Reloaded is continuing under Pinnacle Entertainment, bringing the game further in to their Deadlands RPG universe:

There is a new expansion and a chance to pick up previous releases for the game along with an accompanying RPG book covering Gomorra, using the Savage Worlds rule set.

Disclosure: I'm on the playtest team for this.

Re: KICKSTARTER SPOTLIGHT - Card & Board Games

Hi RPG.net, it's been a while since I was hanging around playing Exalted in PbP threads, but I figured some of you might be interested in my card game:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/990619951/consentacle-a-card-game-of-human-alien-intimacy

It's called Consentacle and it is what it sounds like: a game about a consensual encounter with tentacles. If that sounds too risqué, you might be surprised: the artwork is not explicit or cheesecake (and it's by comic artist James Harvey, who recently designed the first African-American Robin for DC Comics) and the rules revolve around consent, coordination and communication, not creeping. Think "Hanabi, with a bit of Eurogame economy to co-op around, big comic artwork, and suggestive facial expressions."

We backed you and it's awesome!!! Congrats on funding Naomi! The name alone is worth backing. I could say "Consentacle" all day, lol.

Our own KS is at 58% on Day 3 and slowly growing, so hopefully we'll get there too! A much more modest goal for us... :D

Consentacle has been talked a lot in boardgaming Facebook groups I frequent. It seems like one of a kind game.

Dawn of the Archmage

I'll be honest, I don't know that much about board games, but this one caught my eye at least. It's apparently a miniatures skirmish game. Thought someone might be interested.

RPE Miniature's Wizards Conclave

With the first two SG's unlocked, $30 gets you eleven metal miniatures, including six human wizards, three dwarf wizards, and an academic hireling (apprentice for Frostgrave). They should soon be unlocking a sentient broom (construct for Frostgrave)! This is their fourth KS.Hireling would make a good FG apprentice. The broom would make a good construct!
