OOC: Also, Daggers are Monk Weapons, so they should do 1d6 damage, not 1d4.

Alessia slips up beside Nib and tries to slip her backup dagger into a his swimming partner's ribs while he struggles. Somehow, she just barely manages to get it to catch in the thing's strange skin... and bite deep.

OOC: Shortswords get a pass and not rapiers? Awww.

This was a fight that she didn't care for, but there was no help for it. Xandra drew a dagger and went to assist Nib and Allessa with their nearest foe.

OOC: Draw a dagger; a couple of points of damage will have to make up for Disadvantage.

The tag team of Nib and Alessia kill the first merrow before it can even react. Xandra swims past its corpse and jams her dagger into the shoulder of the other fish-creature. It snaps at her with its teeth and stabs at her with its harpoon, but she's too close for it to fight effectively.

Above them, one shark continues to flee, compelled by Tyrys' dragon-fright. The other circles around her and tries to bite her, but the fiery dragon-cultist spins out of the way. As she does, she ignites the flames of her spear, and stabs the shark in its flank.

Whisper looks back and forth between the fights and decides that helping finish off the remaining merrow is the best way to aid Tyrys. She points her staff and an icy bolt grazes the merrow, the beam of cold becoming like an icicle lance.

Nib and Alessia kill one Merrow, Xandra wounds the other. You get a 45gp anima.

The GD Shark attacks Tyrys: Bite +9/22 piercing (disad): 2d20l1+9 10 Misses!

The remaining Merrow tries to stab Xandra with its bite and harpoon. Bite +6/8 piercing; Harpoon +6/11 piercing: 1d20+6 12 1d20+6 8 Misses twice!

Tyrys uses her action to dodge again, and her bonus action to activate her flametongue, then uses her haste action to try to stab the shark with her spear.

Spear +5/1d8+2 piercing +2d6 fire: 1d20+5 20 1d8+2 8 2d6 10 She hits and doe a total of 13 damage (fire damage halved due to being underwater).

Whisper fires off a ray of frost at the remaining merrow. Ray of Frost +7/2d8 cold: 1d20+7 23 2d8 3 and does 3 damage. It's speed is reduced by 10 feet until her next turn.

Alessia, Xandra, and Nib are up! One Merrow left, then you can rescue Tyrys from the shark. Hopefully before she gets hit and lose concentration on fear and letting the other shark back in the fight!

Nib continues to press the advantage against the lone Merrow, darting in like a slipery eel and driving his dagger into the Merrow’s side. “Keehee! Next time learn to hide your pieces better!” Nib taunts the dungeon with a hissing laugh.

The remaining merrow is cut down by Nib and Xandra, a cloud of blood spreading from its corpse.

The agressive shark continues to try to savage Tyrys, but her magic-sped movements are too fast for the shark.

Seeing that the other enemies are down, Tyrys does a fighting retreat and swims away from the shark, heading for the others.

Whisper, not wanting to draw attention to herself, holds her position, clutching her staff in both hands to ward off any attacks.
