Stunts:
Always Making Useful Things. You don’t ever have to spend a fate point to declare that you have the proper tools for a particular job using Crafts, even in extreme situations (like being imprisoned and separated from all your stuff). This source of opposition is just off the table.
Quick on the Draw. You can use Shoot instead of Notice to determine turn order in any physical conflict where shooting quickly would be useful.
Grenades. Without this stunt, grenades are treated as a normal use of the Shoot skill. With this stunt, spend a fate point to target everyone in a zone (including the attacker, if in that zone) separately, without dividing up the attack. This stunt can be compelled to be Depleted.
Heavy Weapon. When you succeed on an attack with this weapon, you can spend a fate point to apply all shifts of that attack to consequences, not stress.

Description:
Secles is an old Sluissi with mottled green and blue scales. He wears a brown bantha hide vest festooned with pockets and pouches, and carries a tremendous repeating blaster rifle slung on his back. He served in the Republic Army before the Clone Wars, and left to fight for his people when they joined the CIS. Now, seeing the utter disaster that that turned out to be, he is deeply sceptical of ideologies that promise to fix the Galaxy's problems. He'll settle for credits in his pocket, a drink in his hand, and authorities that don't mind high-caliber weaponry.

Is this an open line comlink? Can Arlo hear everything we say or do we have the option of un-keying to talk amongst ourselves?

Do the suits come with magnetic boots, to deal with the likely lack of artificia! Gravity?

Also, question about Engineering; can I use it to whip up temporary-but-useful gadgets, like the aforementioned magboots, with the Create an Advantage action?

You've got a suit-to-suit channel too. That said, you've also got a smuggler boss you don't know well who's issued you these suits - who knows if he's bugged the chan? You can always bump helmets together if you want to be really secret and safe.

Sorry, I should have said - all suits have contact pads on their gloves and boots that create a solid grip on almost any surface when triggered. (Think of it as a micro-level version of tractor beam tech, if you need an explanation.) And yes you can Create Advantages with Engineering on the fly, but that's more tuning up or optimization of devices or machinery around you than building whole new ones. Unless you have a whole kit of parts to hand, building a whole new device from scratch will typically take a day in a properly equipped workshop. (Even the Always Making Useful Things stunt in Fate Core doesn't let you pull whole new devices out of the air.)

All suits do come with helmet and chest lamps as well as the line guns too. And you each will have pockets, pouches, belts and bandoliers with almost all the gear for your respective skills.

Did he succeed on the roll to create an advantage?

Also, who has the tracker sensor now? Would make sense for the away team to have it, but let me know.

Oh, am I supposed to stay on the sled? Is there a chance it'll float away?

No, there's enough grapple gear/line guns on the sled to moor it wherever you want it to be. And KD-1010 can "look after" it, while the rest of you guys explore the ship.
