Ok, first new shows start dropping tomorrow, Friday April 3, so guess it's go time for the new season!

(See the end for a couple notes about series that are listed.)

Spring 2015 Anime Streaming Info!

Same drill as usual. I'll update this list as announcements are made. I'm not going to list the stuff carrying over from the previous season, nor am I going to list one-shots, OVA's, and Movies, since those frequently don't get streamed (sadly). I'm also not listing stuff that looks to be little kids shows that doesn't have a streaming or simulcast site yet. If there's something you want added to the list though, let me know and I'll be happy to do so.

Jhiday is doing his seasonal 1st Episode Reviews of all the Spring 2015 shows here.

Manga, Light Novels, and Visual Novels have their own separate discussion thread to help filter the noise a little, though when relevant to an airing show, discussion still occasionally happens here. You can Find that thread here.

Kotaku's Spring Anime 2015 Guide - With short summaries for each show and PV's.

As always, if you see something I've missed, or have a streaming service you'd like added, please let me know.

Lupin III (2015) - Spring*
Digimon Adventures Tri - July**

* I've been able to find VERY little information about Lupin III beyond some vague "Airing in April" info. It's possible this won't air as part of this season, I don't know yet.

** This got pushed back. I haven't seen a firm release date, but I've seen June and July mentioned a couple times, so I'm guessing bumped to Summer 2015.

Sadly for our UK brothers and sisters (and others), Crunchy has clarified that two of their series, so far (Nisekoi and Gunslinger Stratos are only available in the Americas for some reason (North, Central, and South). Nothing for anywhere in the EU. :(

It's time for some piracy! The Bodacious Space Pirates movie has finally been subbed. The usual disclaimer applies: no actual piracy occurred during the making of this film. Although it seems to have gone completely unlicensed, sadly, so plenty of piracy will occur during the viewing of it.
Oh sweet. I'd been afraid I might not get to see it until I learned enough Japanese to understand it raw. Now, should I watch it as soon as possible, or wait until I have time to do a proper WIW of it?

I am wondering what I need to have seen to get the most out of it.

The original The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya series (Season 1, basically).
The The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya movie.

This is the anime adaptation of an alternate-reality spin-off manga - spinning-off specifically from the movie.

Ahh. I've not seen the movie.

Guess I'll have to remedy that first.

The The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya movie.
Watching the first episode of Season 2 before the movie might be a good idea, too (as it's heavily referenced within).

(Don't bother with the rest of Season 2, though. Endless Eight is infamous for a reason, and watching the making-of for "Episode 0" adds very little.)
