Summer 2015 Anime Streaming Info!

Same drill as usual. I'll update this list as announcements are made. I'm not going to list the stuff carrying over from the previous season, nor am I going to list one-shots, OVA's, and Movies, since those frequently don't get streamed (sadly). I'm also not listing stuff that looks to be little kids shows that doesn't have a streaming or simulcast site yet. If there's something you want added to the list though, let me know and I'll be happy to do so.

Useful Related Links:

As always, if you see something I've missed, or have a streaming service you'd like added, please let me know.

So besides the new streaming stuff, Crunchy annoucned two other shows they added to their back catalogue: Lupin the Third part 1, which I think is the original Lupin TV series, and Yosuga no Sora: In Solitude Where We are Least Alone!

Lupin is exciting, because a lot of the Lupin stuff has not really been available outside a couple movies. It also makes me think Crunchy will be airing the new Lupin series. :)

Yosuga no Sora is... less exciting. I watched most of this a while back, and while the first 2/3 of it aren't bad... Well, it's one of those Harem shows where it tells a series of "alternate" paths throughout, so the protag only chooses one girl at a time, tells their story, then moves on to see what happens if he chooses a different girls. It's not bad, though surprisingly porny, as the protag hooks up and actually has sex with the girls.

The problem comes with the last arc... Because not only does he choose his sister, it's his TWIN sister. So we get Twincest. yay. I punched out of the series at that point, because... Well, ew.

But if you can avoid that final arc, it's not terrible. Not great, Amagami and Photo Kano did it better, IMO, but not terrible. But as soon as you hit that final arc, drop it, unless you really feel like watching what I assume is semi-explicit twincest.

This is a useful site for checking what's available on the legal stream sites, at least for the US region.

Not seeing a ton of things to pick up but I'll be following this thread anyways to see which of the new series turn out better than expected.

It's also apparently adding Part 3, which I think is new. I now have all three Lupin series on my queue at least. And yeah, it certainly does suggest they might be ramping up to a new Lupin.

Well, this is good to know! I added it to my queue as well, because the art style reminded me of the of the late-00s harem shows that I missed.

Heavy Objects is the only thing that is "must see" for now. Waiting for Jhiday to take SAN loss in my stead as always. There are a number of shows from this season that I put on hold until the season closed out which could fill in nicely for a slack season. Missing Nyarko or something in that ilk.

Oh man, the fight between Takeo Gouda and Suruga Kanbaru would be so great.

Gorilla vs. Monkey!
Nah. Trying to hurt Takeo would be like kicking a puppy. Even murderous monkey-demons would just feel like dicks if they tried.
