Winter 2017 Anime Streaming Info!

Same drill as usual. I'll update this list as announcements are made. I'm not going to list the stuff carrying over from the previous season, nor am I going to list one-shots, OVA's, and Movies, since those frequently don't get streamed (sadly). I'm also not listing stuff that looks to be little kids shows that doesn't have a streaming or simulcast site yet. If there's something you want added to the list though, let me know and I'll be happy to do so.

Crunchi-Funi Note – With the streaming deal between Crunchyroll and Funimation, Funimation seems to mostly be airing only the Simuldubs of stuff, and that anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks(or more) after the Sub airs. So I’m only going to bother listing Funimation links if they have something that Crunchyroll does not.

Politics Note (aka, the GATE rule) - Some shows deal with some touchy political and historical issues. Minor discussion of this is fine, but if it looks like it's going to become a major discussion or argument, please spin off a separate discussion thread. These can get quite heated, can be a bit ugly, can easily derail the thread, and many of the posters in this thread don't care to be involved. Thanks in advance.

As always, if you see something I've missed, or have a streaming service you'd like added, please let me know.

Going back to something from the last thread:

Both Noir:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ch8QLdBiDqI.

And Madlax:

http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/madlax/hitominokakera.htm

Both of these are amazing opening songs that really fit the mood of the shows, and are forever imprinted in my mind. I still listen to both soundtracks frequently. Haven't watched either show in close to 10 years, but the songs still stick with me (and I keep wanting to rewatch as a result, just no time!)

Also, Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex has this wonder, Inner Universe:

It's gonna sound weird, but I liked Noir's ED more than it's OP.

Sorry, Aqua. Eris for me. She's a /real/ goddess. :)

I really hope Crunchy gets KonoSuba 2nd Season. Can't see why it wouldn't, but not announced yet, so. :)

A real goddess?

Eris is just Aqua's second rate kohai in charge of a shitty little backwater.

Aqua, meanwhile, is an A lister with the rights to managing the souls of every single person who dies in Japan.

I'm just saying, when they talk, you pay attention to who acts like the boss and who acts like the coffee gofer.

(I love many things about Konosuba, but the fact that Aqua is as big a deal in the divine hierarchy as she claims to be, despite being, well, Aqua is definitely up there.)

I quite liked the opening of 11Eyes.

However, the anime really, really wanted to have two cours and didn't get them, so the ending can be generously described as "a mess".

Well, that’s just Prime.

Favorite opening...I'm gonna have to think about that. Especially isolating it from, essentially, the opening to my favorite shows. :p

In terms of music, though, I do have to give props to the Cutey Honey opening. Because there aren't a lot of openings that are still getting referenced and remixed in new iterations for decades.

And here's the 11eyes opening:

Speaking of Konosuba, I finally got off my ass and started watching that. I'm only two episodes in but it's quite enjoyable.

Poor Aqua. Getting eaten like that.

The first post currently has some messed up forum code in it.

Been watching it after the holidays myself. It's funny and cute, and I can see why so many people are excited for the second season. Still, I have to wonder how long this series can keep going before it starts feeling repetitive.
