Chris does not especially want to answer this question, partially because he's afraid of them turning out to be a joke, partially because he instinctively doesn't brag, partially because he's still scared of his powers and hasn't really tested their limits yet. But it's a hard question to deflect, so he just skips about half of them. "Well, nothing cool like wings or fire. I got stronger than I used to be - I also think I got smarter, but it's weirdly hard to describe what that's like or how it feels? I can talk to computers, but it gives me a headache sometimes. Oh, and I don't seem to get hungry or thirsty anymore."

"What can you and your brother do?"

M.G.

Flashing him their best smirk, M.G. says, "Wanted to get somewhere a bit quieter and to check out someone who has inner darkness spilling out a bit." The tone is flirty teasing. Tweaking appearance this close is probably a little too obvious, but if a clear avenue opens up, M.G. isn't above that.

Pretty regularly, actually; every couple of weeks at the most. Mum’s off overseas, so I’m staying with my aunt until I finish high school. He and I get along pretty well, we both liking sticking our noses in places they don’t belong,” grinning.

"Hey, I've seen people get hurt pretty bad with hockey sticks, even through all the padding. My friends, the ones who came with me from the airport, are pretty good teachers if you want. If they don't already teach that kind of thing here already. Armed combat isn't normal for summer camps I don't think. But then this isn't a normal summer camp.
"Well... to be honest, the stick's just for the fun of it," said Deb. "Let me show you."

She stepped back, into an open area, and flew straight up about ten yards.

"STAND CLEAR!" she shouted, and then hurled down a few thunderbolts into the spot she'd been standing on. From there, she stooped. landing on the ground with a thump that made the earth shake. It wasn't her full power for a landing like that, but it did make an impressive display.

"...So, mom taught me some good tricks," she concluded. "Winged victory and all that."

Sophie
"Hi, by all means." The pillar responds, patting the log next to her so she would be in the middle. "I'm Sara." Her badge says Sun Wukong, the other girls says Amaterasu. "Asami." She nods to you in a formal manner. Both girls have a smirk, though each is different. Asami's is coy and slightly haughty, Sara's is mischevious and has trouble written all over it. "So what's your deal?" Sara asks bluntly, offering you half a coconut with an umbrella and something alcoholic in it.
"I'm Sophie, or Valara if you know me online. Daughter of Aphrodite Areia. I spotted some good looking girls and thought I'd see if I could hang."

The evening is getting on and one or two people have already retired to their cabins, being cut off from the alcohol before they had a chance to completely overdo it. The last of the wood has been thrown on the bonfire and while there is still plenty of light from it and Asami the ambience slowly begins to darken.

Chris "Me? Well like I said I can fly, but that's part and parcel of being able to manipulate winds really. Umm, I can also deal with wounds, anything to do with blood really, spilling it, finding who spilled it. Lupe is good with blood too, he can even spin it into gold. He doesn't like using his powers much though. He likes to do things full human as it were. I hope you don't mind me saying, but you seem real new to all this, which is fine. You don't know who your parent is, do you?"

M.G It's dark enough you can get away with some minor tweaks, especially when one of the tendrils brushes by you. "Uh yeah...well, plenty of that here." He mumbles, obviously not very used to socialising. His cheeks are going very red, somewhat ruining his pale goth look. "I'm Nicholas... it all just kind of happens, in the moonlight." He gestures to all the shadows. Hilga continues to look on, leaning against a cabin as she watches quite unsubtly. Luckily Nicholas seems too focused on you to notice.

Bryanna "It's a fun hobby." Fiona grins. "One of my personal favourites. Stuck it anywhere interesting? In a non euphemistic way of course." Andrea is flicking the vial of ambrosia between her fingers, like it were a shiny magical poker chip. "We've got plans for later." She grins conspiratorially. "

Deb Marcus jumps back as you launch yourself and pummel the ground with electricity. An ozone smell begins to fill the air and you get a few whoops and cheers from the onlookers. "Cool!" He grins as you land. "I have to admit I'm kinda better in group fights. But I can still do this." He reaches behind him and pulls a sword and shield you swear wasn't their before. They aren't shiny, and the metal is nicked all over from what looks to be many battles. He slowly clangs the sword against the shield and as each reverberation calls out you see golden figures beginning to coalesce. Some are winged female warriors, others are of indistinguishable gender, clad head to toe in furs and chain. They all seem ready for battle. "Wanna spar?"

Sophie Asami nods almost imperceptibly. "Yes, I think I've seen you before. You were the one with the flowing water dress. From 'Princess of the River'?" She says quietly and assuredly, referring to a costume you've made for a recent con. "Oooh, Aphrodite huh?" Sarah giggles. "Go on then. Woo me. Come at me."

Bryanna

“The usual, abandoned asylums, abandoned hospitals, abandoned mines,” Bryanna shrugs, “though you have to be a bit more careful about the last, I don’t need to breathe anymore, but there’s always the danger of collapses, “I’m always hoping that I’ll come across some mystery that someone doesn’t want to be uncovered,” eyes gleaming, then she sighs, “but I mostly come across old abandoned junk,” she confesses.

“So, about these plans?” Bryanna asks Andrea.

"My just sort of happens thing was knowing stuff. Just information popping into my head," M.G. says. "I'm M.G.," they add, moving their hand towards one of the tendrils that brushed by them. "Are they connected to you, like if I caught a tendril or took a bit of it would it hurt?"

Chris flags that part about being able to find out who spilled blood in his rapidly-growing database. That seems like the kind of thing that might matter. "No, I don't know anything. I grew up in a totally mundane environment. The last couple weeks have been really weird for me, this camp is the first time I've had anything resembling an explanation."

He slowly clangs the sword against the shield and as each reverberation calls out you see golden figures beginning to coalesce. Some are winged female warriors, others are of indistinguishable gender, clad head to toe in furs and chain. They all seem ready for battle. "Wanna spar?"
"Umm, you should get that wound-healing power ready. I think that guy's about to try and spar with live steel." Chris's voice stays level and his face stays neutral, thanks to the fact that his appearance is essentially an artificial construct at this point. But internally, he's definitely afraid somebody is going to get hurt.

"Yes, that was me. Took a lot of effort to make, but it was worth it.

"Well, Great Sage, how about I show you heaven, and we'll see if you're equal of it?"
