Wolfhill Entertainment offers some free downloadable maps on Drivethrurpg.com and affiliate sites. You are more than welcome to use those.

If you don't need it fancy, Hexographer will allow you to whip out nice, old school hex maps.

If you end up doing it by hand - buy some slightly nicer paper than the usual office ream. It makes a world of difference.

At last! The internet works! I have a few sheets of art paper thanks. I practice on my ream of copier paper first though. Can't seem to draw a coastline. >< If I can get the color file open, I will re attempt a map. Thanks you guys!

I’ve been working on watercolor paper when I have been doing this. It’s nice and heavy, and, unsurprisingly, works well with the watercolors I was using for the final step. :LOL:
