National Larp Writing Month starts in November. Its a completely informal thing, basicly a way of encouraging people to write some larps, inspired by NaNoWriMo. The "rules" are simple: write a larp, any sort of larp, in a month. Details, FAQ, and completely optional signup-for-a-reminder are here:

I've done this a couple of times, and its perfectly possible to write a mid-sized theatreform (12-20 players) in the required time. Last year I wrote a Regency - Downton Abbey game called Longmuir Hall. The year before I did an Asimovian robot larp called Persephone's Choice. Its a good way of getting the motivation to actually write a game rather than just throwing some ideas in the slushpile.

Anyone interested?

The conversation happens where it happens - the kiwi participants already have a facebook group, for example. But if people want to talk about it here, that's great.
