Quinn taps on the screen at the surrounding borders. "I'd like to get eyes on that eh? Anyone else wanna give it a go?"

OOC: If you're going to recon the place - wise choice - better work out exactly what you're looking for, and what gear you'll take.

While everyone's busy on the pre-planning for Hillingham, Edgar's spiders throw up yet another tidbit on Singleton. It seems the Order of Darkness is holding one of its exclusive invitation-only get-togethers at Darkacres in a couple of evenings' time. Of course, only a High Society figure could possibly score an invitation...

No further developments come up as the team prep to take on Hillingham. Nicolette and Stuart Shen bow out, while asking you to keep them in mind if you need more help. The mysterious deserted mansion in North London awaits...

Eddie began by setting up a mockup of the grounds from Google Earth at Quinn's request.
Eddie is able to construct a pretty accurate isometric image of the house and its immediate surroundings, giving a good representation of sight lines, blind spots, kill zones, and everything else a covert entry team needs to know about. The tree-shrouded lane is the only access, with more ranks of trees separating the house from anywhere else on the Heath, although there is a clearing of about 50 m all around the house. Some kind of weatherboarding appears to have been built all around the house to discourage casual intrusion.

Interestingly, when Eddie taps into Google Earth's historical timeline feature, he can see far more activity around the house back in the past. A wider more unobstructed road evidently led there, and large vehicles often passed down it and parked outside the house, too often to be simply movers.

OOC: This is the most Eddie can get without sending a drone over to take a close look. With his plan, a 1-point Military Science or Architecture spend will give the team a 4-points-each pool to spend on Shooting, Surveillance, Infiltration, or any other relevant GA when you all make the entry.

"Construction?" Quinn leans over Eddie's shoulder and taps roughly on the screen. "What have they been building that requires that much room?"

OOC: Just as a note - the work was happening in the late 1970s. If there had been satellite surveillance earlier, it might have been visible then too. There's no sign of life in the more recent shots. Curiously, there's no sign of new building - just regular movement of large trucks in and out.

"Lemme ring up Samson real quick." Quinn steals away to a corner and makes his phone call...

In a tiny flat somewhere in London, a cell phone rang. Samson looked up from the map of the countryside he was pouring over and regarded it suspiciously. The number of people who had that number was short and none of them should be reaching out to him. He picked the phone up gingerly and moved to the window, peering out cautiously as he answered. "If you called this phone you know who I am," he said as he answered, starting without preamble. "What do you want?"
