(Delivered, of course, in a maddeningly calm and reasonable voice. :D )

And is also your characters' brother, murderer of one character's father, lover/mentor/brother's murderer to another character and part of their secret conspiracy(s). And that was before the latest ret-con.

A) Fans of furry art have taken to calling themselves furry as well, but the term correctly applies to the art and B) It's a talking wolf that behaves in a human-ish manner. Doesn't matter why it's talking and such, that makes it an anthropomorphic wolf...thus, a furry. :p
Except that "anthropomorphic" literally means "shaped like a human". The key syllable is "morph".

There was an Elseworldsish thing, one of the Superman & Batman Generations I believe, where Superman warned Batman's parents, but they went ahead and deliberately got killed anyway because of Batman saving the world and all.

Amusing, but I've seen a much better Hello Kitty Vadar costume. The disturbing part is that means there are more than one...
I believe that it started out with someone making a white Darth Vader costume, from out of the Dark Horse alternate version of Return of the Jedi... the one where Luke dies and Darth Vader survives and becomes a good guy... anyhow he made the mistake of letting a picture get on eh internets and someone used Photoshop to Hello Vader-erise him.

[annoying zoology major] Why would a female predator which has reptilian and arachnid features have a body like that [/annoying zoology major]
I wouldn't really say that they are reptilian, just cause their temperature range tends towards hotter than humans, I mean someone might have said so in some 90s AVP type comic or something, but they also had that the bigass gun from the Aliens movie, the one that you se them putting bullets into, written up as a lazor, so what do they know?

And having mandibles (go on say it) doesn't make someone a spider, it just means that they evolved a complex jaw thing, well really it just means that the special effects people on the first film thought that it would be fucking sweet.

In fact teh best background story, if you can call it that, was in one of the Female of the Species storylines in said comics and it basically said "They were just liek us, with technology and shit, then they got bored and started hunting everything in the Universe for shits and giggles." Best background story evar.

Well, unknown if they're *reptilian*, but they do have the same body-temperature regulation that reptiles do, which is why they prefer the warmth. It's in both the comics and the novels, parts of which have even been used in the movies (Predator 2 was slightly based off the first major Predator comic book series, the AvP concept comes from the comics first and both movies borrowed from the comics).

In the novels, it's revealed that the females don't generally leave their home world, but they're also *bigger* than the males. Mating is...violent. If the female doesn't like a male, he's dead meat. Most likely, a lot of their posturing and hunting and stuff is part of proving themselves worthy males.

...which still just goes back to the "shits & giggles"-explanation. :D
