  • How old is she?
  • Name someone who knows your secret, either because you trusted them with it or through some accident.
  • Who do you least want to discover your secret?
Her name is Lily and she’s 11, too old for dolls she says.

My foster father, Bazaran Solace. He is a mighty vampire lord and has been very good to me all these years, lately he’s been nagging me to grow up and abandon life to take the next step, and he wants me to become a vampire like him. “We vampires are good at protecting our descendants,” he reminds me, and “If you think I raised you up just for you to die a mortal death in a gutter somewhere, you’re even thicker than I thought you were.”

My superior officer, Mage-General Flayn, a creepy lich with a penchant for unannounced inspections and torture — a martinet without the elan of a true soldier of Rahesh. I understand he’s got to be a terror to be promoted, but she’s got too much enthusiasm.

(I’m imagining some internal politics between factions of immortal undead, especially after they’ve been cooped up in bubble universe for centuries.)

Regarding the wiki, I’ll update it further. I’m thinking of taking more of the thief advanced moves and also trading in the sword for a lance — his giant axe is good enough for melee combat, and he is s sort of Knight after all. He’s likely to kill things from horseback on occasion.

I do like the idea of a talking barbarian axe with a short attention span.

Does the below work for you, Lysus?

The proposal is that hippokrene's character, the eladrin Vermelha, has a partner (Lady Eldenfal, a undead winterkin eladrin) who is also an Acolyte of the Abyss.
I certainly don't have a problem with any of this - it should be interesting.

I've filled in more on the wiki. It should be mostly done, though you should look at the advanced moves to see whether you want to keep Defender of the Faith, due to the overlap.

There's also a shorthand summary for Tama on the front page of the wiki.

Follower: a young human novice who has been assigned as her charge during this mission, acting as her assistant and perhaps as a spy for one of the other factions in the church.
Munisa is a priestess of Sehanine of lawful alignment, who is motivated by loyalty. She is orderly, focused, and obsessive, a competent specialist +1 Quality, and Cunning. Dedicated to her task, Munisa is dignified and has a reputation for being perceptive. She has a tendency to give in to temptation.

Do you OOCly want to know the truth about whether or not she is a spy?

We can bring that up in play when it becomes relevant. I'll have a look at the wiki in a couple of days when things are back to normal.

Sounds good. FWIW, I rolled for all of those characteristics, but did it on my phone and so couldn't include the rolls.

Thanks. I saw you started putting it into format. Much appreciated!

I had some time, and brain power for data entry, so I did some work in there, myself, mostly getting things formatted, getting all of the Basic Moves for Fighter, Cleric, and Thief in, and wrangling the Gear into shape.

Some outstanding things:
  • You assigned +STR and +INT to your rolled attributes, but Tieflings can do +1 to any two of CHA, CON, and INT, or +2 to any one. So your STR will be set back to 17, and you can either bump INT up another point or get either CHA or CON to 15.
  • I left your Advanced Moves alone
  • For the wt of Gate's Bane: the great-axe can either be a normal 3 wt, lighter with a 2 wt, or heavier with a 4 wt -- you decide in chargen which it is
  • You need to identify your three Tricks of the Trade (from Thief playbook)
  • Dreadhur is currently over Capacity, which would give him -1 ongoing on many rolls. I'd probably solve that by having a valet carry his backpack for him, leaving him free to bristle with weapons and armor.
For Vecna, I'm going to suggest the following:
  • Tenet: Never reveal all you know
  • Domains: choose two of Undead, Secrets, Necromancy, Intrigue, Corruption, Dominance
There's probably a fine balance in there between keeping knowledge from other PCs/players that's harmful to the game versus provoking interesting situations/quandaries because Dreadhur wasn't being entirely transparent.

Does that last sentence have some gender errors, or are you talking about two different people?

Let's say a lance is 1d12, wt 3, reach, forceful, stun, 2 pierce, awkward. Mounted combat will be relatively abstract, at least to start.

I do like the idea of a talking barbarian axe with a short attention span.
Gate's Bane thinks of itself as a prophet. It is Chaotic (disrupt a prevailing order), is motivated by celebration, and finds payment through vengeance. Its Virtue is hopeful; its Vices vengeful and stubborn. It's doubtful about your leadership (-1 Loyalty). It's adept: +1 Quality with tags Rebellion-wise, Athletic, Sensitive to Magic. It is charismatic and a veteran of many engagements. It likes to slack off.

I'm working on the flaming skull and your squad of improved zombies.
