The art is gorgeous, but I'm less certain about the setting and rules. I'm sorely tempted, but have two related questions:

  1. Is the magic solely or almost exclusively focused on combat and monster-hunting, or is there also the sort of magic that aids people in their daily live (magic for starting fires, preserving food, curing diseases, enhancing the fertility of crops...).
  2. Does the material on the various cultures take into account the use of magic as a regular (if risky) part of life?

If 1 is yes, I'll likely back the kickstarter, if 1 & 2 are both yes, then I definitely will.

Hi J,
Hmm. I'd say magic is pretty similar to other systems but with a Trudvang-twist to it. Mages are powerful and potent in combat but also as helping a party with other stuff. Not sure if it give you any info about the system, but here's a shortlist of the spells presented in the current version (subject to change though). For 2, I 'd be honest and say, no in that sense it does not affect the play in "everyday life" but mages as such are respected and feared even by the commoners so to say, and mages play different roles in different parts of the world.

Cheers for the feedback guys.

Doing as well as can be expected, given the Type 2 diabetes. ::shrug:: Life goes on.
I can imagine that sucks, but glad your ticking over ok!!

Theo from RiotMinds here.
Cheers for the contact, I went back over to your forum and the update on combat was really useful (http://forum.riotminds.se/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=72&start=10) and I actually like how it looks.

4 weapon actions, while one using a two-handed sword can only use 2 weapon actions.
I like the fact the dagger is quicker than a 2-h sword, though the latter will probably take you head off!!!

Question though does that mean a the 2-h sword would be limited to 2 attacks, 2 parries or 1 attack and 1 parry?

Ok I am sold, if nothing else it looks pretty!!! :)
