Has anyone made any rule changes to Anarchy to reflect the 2050s? Maybe it wouldn't take much...maybe omit some of the Amps?

*dries tears of disappointment*

Yes, I think by looking over the 2050 book and matching amps to it (or one's own personal view of what the 2050s were) Anarchy could very easily be reskinned to play in the era.

And I was really hoping this thread would be about a new release for Anarchy depicting the 2050s (or generally several eras and play styles).

Or anything new, really.

sorry it was disappointing, but cool idea! One book that simply provided Amps and such for the different eras.

THIS JUST IN: I DMed line dev Jason Hardy and got confirmation I can spill the beans, because he thinks he let it slip somewhere else.

So, uh, the Anarchy book I've mentioned "is in the works" a few times, that I finished my bit for, etc, etc, and that is in the pipeline? It totally is Anarchy set in the 1st edition era, yeah.

So, there ya go. I really wanted to mention it earlier, but I had to wait until I heard back from my boss, to make sure I wasn't gonna get into NDA trouble. :)

Well, looks like I'm gonna have to put my money where my mouth is - I've been clamoring for more 2050 support and I'd be a real drek-head if I didn't keep my word.

Brass tacks question that you may or may not be able to answer: is it gonna be a stand alone release with all the rules included (Anarchy 2050) or a splat for the extant Anarchy corebook? I don't own the latter and if I should I need to start orderin' some stuff . . .

Ha! Today I sent the following image to some interested players and noted that I now have the books I need to start our game.

Spoiler: Show

I hope that it’s a standalone book, with enough of the setting in place so that you can hit the ground running without having to reference ages-old books or get a separate PDF and dig out the fluff from the crunch.

(Also, it would be an opportunity to address the myriad criticisms of SR:A that have popped up.)

That's too much info, sorry. The only green light I got was "you can tell people it's coming."
