Steven Universe 2: Make it gayer!

Alright, I guess its time to do it again.

Welcome to the Steven Universe thread, version 2. Spoilers ahoy, so tread with care.

To start us off, a little piece of fanart from Tumblr (the place where SU reigns supreme).

Future Stevonnie and Greg hanging out.

The thinking here is that Stevonnie is only human sized right now because Steven and Connie are both smol. When Steven and Connie are adults, Stevonnie is going to be gigantic. I'm not sure that's how it actually works (Because Rainbow Quartz wasn't too much bigger than Rose Quartz) but its something to think about.

Yeah, I'm not sure Future Stevonnie is going to be that big; the really huge fusions we've seen have either involved Garnet or been a vengeful fusion boiling the ocean with hatred.

I do like Old Greg, though I hope when he's that age they let him live in the house and sleep on a bed.

Obviously, this is a Homeworld thread and therefore doesn't change design when regenerated. Or maybe another thread of the same model, but I'm not sure how similar those would actually look.

Hmmn. We know that there is some variation in gems of the same type, even if they have some common features. How similar would two gems look? Did the Peridot that came to Earth start out looking exactly like the other peridots back on Homeworld?

On a related note, we've seen that Amethyst can't maintain a large default form. Would big gem like Jasper have similar trouble maintaining a smaller default form? Are the other amethysts incapable of making their default form as small as the Crystal Gem Amethyst?

Opal was pretty big, although not that big, and I don't see a reason for Stevonnie to be noticeably larger than Opal.

Amethyst was able to turn into an owl, and stay that way.

If their bodies are energy made solid, a smaller body would just be made with less energy. Making a larger one requires more energy than they can sustain.

Though Amethyst can be Purple Puma sized for quite a while.
