Written on my blog about the creation process of the original edition of the Horror RPG KULT that was released in 1991.

It is quite interesting how conflict filled the process was and that the people involved had very different minds on what the game should be.

Kult was the first game I GM:ed.

I think I still have the old issue of Sinkadus somewhere with the presentation of the game as it came out.
I remember how it describes them bingewatching horror videos to get in the right mindset. Its clear how the Cenobites from Hellraiser influenced the design of the Nepharites.

Yes, I remember it that as well. I have that copy of Sinkadus as well. But somehwere in the attic I am afraid.

Thanks for the info, I greatly enjoyed the (German translation of the) game back in the late '90s and still have my copy.

BTW, the stuff about the "moral outrage" doesn't have a link.
