The wonderful Conception Convention isn't running in 2017. Some wonderful people have stepped forward to help fill the slot created in our convention calendar by offering to run a very similar large, residential RPG UK convention.

This is Con-tingency Plan. Full details here:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/2017ConTingency/

It's running at the Sandy Balls holiday camp from 25th to 30th August. In the New Forest. As of posting this there is still some on-site accomodation available.

Game affects are already beginning to flood in but if you want to offer to run something - be it Freeform, Living or an other kind of tabletop RPG - just let me know. I'm helping co-ordinate the "classic RPGs" (ie. not Freeform or Living) but I'll happily pass any other offers over to the relevant game Tsars.

It isn't August, it's JANUARY 2017. Sorry!
And officially I'm the organiser in charge of the gaming so now that people have had time to think of what games they would like to run I want to start letting all of those potential players know about the wonderful games that will be offered. So I'd like to sort out a definitive list of what will be run and when. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or requests for support and let me know if you are interested in running a game at Contingency.

Thanks,

Dave "Wintergreen" Harrison

Hey there,

Figured I'd resurrect this thread for 2 reasons.

1 - I'm organising a games convention in Perth, Scotland. You can read about that in the thread here - https://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?828672-Scotland-UK-Tabletop-Scotland-1st-amp-2nd-September-in-Perth

2 - I've created a Google Sheet which has a list of all the Board Game and RPG conventions in the UK (that I'm aware of). Figured people here might also find it useful. Feedback and updates appreciated. You can find it here - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1p5iZrLlU7EthiItODGO5ZweyhCIOVFu7ULj2c25iPQU/htmlview

Cheers,

Dave
